Zara Larsson has “too many good songs” for her new album and her lead single “Ain’t My Fault” is taking the world by storm. I literally don’t wanna explain my words for this song because song speaks itself. These 3:43 minutes of my music-life were unbelievable and I just can’t put my feelings into words because IT’S COMPLICATED!
She is yet to release her album, tho she confirmed that it has too many good songs, we definitely can’t wait to hear them all. When it comes to breakout popstars in 2016, Zara Larsson far and away leads the pack. The 18-year-old has had massive success with ‘Never Forget You‘ and ‘Lush Life‘, as well as her new single ‘Ain’t My Fault‘.
But fans are now eager to get their hands on her new album, which will be her first major international collection.
“It’s coming in January hopefully,” Zara told Digital Spy at VEVO Halloween in Liverpool over the weekend. “It is finished, but I feel like you could basically keep on doing it forever.
“But now I’m just like, ‘It’s finished, it’s done – I’m happy with all the records on it.’ I actually feel like I have too many good songs. It was really hard to pick out the final cuts.”
So now that she has done the hard task of whittling down the tracks, who is on the album?
“I’ve been in the studio with a lot of different producers,” Zara explained. “I’ve got WizKid on the album. I’ve got Ty Dolla $ign, and I love him so much.
“Some from the MXM team [Max Martin’s crew], StarGate and The Monsters and Strangerz – it’s been great.”
However, with the new album arriving in January, Zara hasn’t decided yet whether we’ll get another new single before then.
John Legend’s “Love Me Now” and Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault” are officially inside pop radio’s Top 25.
